DLFC-308

The DLFC-308 is a dipole, cardioid-configured loudspeaker purpose-built to enhance the mid-bass performance of CLA Series Line Arrays in biamplified or triamplified system configurations. It features three 8” drivers, each housed in a separate sealed enclosure—two front-facing and one rear-facing. The front-facing drivers are precisely spaced to generate a dipole cancellation effect between 150 Hz and 325 Hz, delivering extended vertical pattern control and enhanced intelligibility. The rear-facing driver provides cardioid behavior, minimizing low-frequency radiation behind the enclosure. Below 150 Hz, the DLFC-308 operates as a conventional low-frequency system, delivering powerful and clear low-end support. Each driver is independently terminated, allowing for individual delay and level adjustments. This enables vertical beam steering—either upward or downward—tailored for acoustically reflective or architecturally sensitive spaces.

DLFC-308/CLA 935

The DLFC-308/CLA 935 is a dipole steered, low frequency, sub bass cardioid combined with a curvilinear line array.  This combination creates a powerful, compact full range music system. Cardioid Sub-Bass loudspeakers are designed to extend the low-frequency response, projection and precise directional control of the CLA system. The DLFC-808 has three 8” forward  facing drivers and one rear cancellation driver. It is designed to match the superb transient response of the CLA line array. The dipole drivers are oriented with a vertical spacing which defines an octave wide controlled coverage band, below which the loudspeaker behaves as a conventional LF system. Steering of the LF lobe can be achieved by applying a signal delay to the lower drivers. The CLA-935 series loudspeaker is a nine element j-array.  It has twenty 3.5” mid-frequency drivers and twenty ribbon high-frequency drivers.  The CLA-935 series loudspeakers have been optimized for speech applications in acoustically challenging spaces. The CLA-935 has been preconfigured in an asymmetrical 35° V by 120° H coverage pattern with vertical directivity to 600 Hz, and low frequency response to 100 Hz.
