SLA-Micro EX

A compact, high output Frequency Shaded Line Array loudspeaker employing an AMT ribbon HF driver, six 2.5” LF drivers and Dipole LF

The SLA-Micro EX is a bi-amplified combination of a frequency shaded line-array and a dipole LF- array. It is designed to be free standing on a floor mount for use in historically sensitive or acoustically challenging spaces. It is commonly used in combination with satellite articulation speakers to create directsound-enhancement systems with face-to-face speech clarity. The SLA-Micro EX employs an air-motion transformer HF driver and six 2 1/2” MF drivers in a line-array with two 4” long-throw LF drivers in a dipole configuration. A sophisticated filter circuit sequentially integrates drivers in the line-array to maintain pattern control to 350 Hz and ensures a smooth transition from line-source to point-source behavior at lower frequencies. The result is very flat response and uniform pattern control, yielding superior speech clarity and musical detail.
