McNamara Alumni Center Lectern, University of Minnesota

Innovox Audio designed and built a fully custom lectern for the University of Minnesota’s McNamara Alumni Center, a premier event and conference venue known for hosting high-profile presentations and ceremonies. The project required a solution that combined exceptional audio performance with a refined visual appearance suitable for a formal architectural setting.

A custom built lectern, built by Innovox for the U of M McNamara Event Center. It features our SLA Micro Line Array with ribbon based tweeters and a cleverly disguised dipole spaced, slot loaded LF. It also has a built in LED display so any image, logo can be displayed.

The custom lectern integrates Innovox’s SLA Micro Line Array technology, featuring ribbon-based tweeters engineered for precise high-frequency reproduction and consistent speech intelligibility. A cleverly concealed dipole, spaced slot-loaded low-frequency system provides balanced tonal response while maintaining a clean, unobtrusive form factor. In addition to its advanced acoustic design, the lectern includes a built-in LED display capable of presenting logos, branding, or event-specific graphics, allowing the system to adapt seamlessly to a wide range of presentations and functions.
