McNamara Event Center, University of Minnesota MN

The McNamara Event Center at the University of Minnesota needed a robust audio system to handle the exceptionally large room with a four story high ceiling. The space represented one of the most acoustically challenging spaces Innovox and our integration partners have ever faced. Almost all of the surfaces in the space are stone, tile and the atrium is so large, another building could fit inside it. Innovox CLA-2035, CLA-935 and SLA-6.1 loudspeakers were used in conjunction with a low frequency driver placed in the lectern. The space is now used successfully for hundreds of events a year with zero audio complaints.
